Call of Duty: WWII Private Multiplayer Beta Test Now Live on PlayStation 4.
The highly anticipated Call of Duty: WWII Private Multiplayer Beta is now live worldwide on PlayStation 4. Players who pre-ordered Call of Duty: WWII for PS4 from participating retailers can get started now through Monday, August 28 in the first of two consecutive weekends of testing . Private Multiplayer Beta participants will get a small taste of what Call of Duty: WWII multiplayer will offer, including some of the varied maps set in iconic World War II locations, the brand new Divisions system and the mission-driven War Mode. The Private Multiplayer Beta is an important stress test for the systems behind the game, providing important real-time information and feedback to help improve the game ahead of its worldwide release on November 3rd.

The Call of Duty: WWII Private Multiplayer Beta lets players participate in a small portion of the full multiplayer experience, including Divisions, a new form of the create-a-class system. Divisions allow players to enhance their individual playstyles by choosing from five iconic World War II divisions, each with specific training and weapon skills. While the Divisions mode is still in development, the Private Multiplayer Beta gives players the opportunity to try out the five divisions in the game.
During both weekends of testing, the Call of Duty: WWII Private Multiplayer Beta will give players access to a variety of multiplayer maps set against the backdrop of the greatest conflict in human history, designed for the fast-paced, ground-based multiplayer combat that Call of Duty fans know and cherish. . In addition, players can test War Mode, a brand new game mode developed in collaboration with Raven Software that focuses on team-based attack and defense. The final game, due for release in November, will offer even more multiplayer content, including Headquarters, the feature-packed eSports suite, Supply Drops and Loot, as well as more maps and modes not yet available in the Private Multiplayer Beta.

Fans will have another chance to participate in the Call of Duty: WWII Private Multiplayer Beta during the second weekend of testing. This second weekend, the beta will be open to players who pre-ordered Call of Duty: WWII for PS4 or Xbox One from participating retailers. The second Private Multiplayer Beta weekend begins on Friday, September 1 and runs through Monday, September 4. Players who participated in the Call of Duty: WWII Private Multiplayer Beta during any of these weekends will receive the exclusive Private Multiplayer Beta Combat Pack for use in multiplayer, including a unique helmet, calling card and emblem. During both Call of Duty: WWII Private Multiplayer Beta weekends, Sledgehammer Games will be gathering player feedback to finalize features, optimize game balance, and further refine the game until launch in November.
