Good morning all! Hang out the flags and put the Fristi on the table, because besides the fact that it is almost weekend, Capcom will show a new Resident Evil very soon. Also in this Night Watch: the new Xbox Games With Gold and a whole bunch of fancy new trailers. Let’s go!

It’s FRIDAY again !!!

New Resident Evil to be revealed on September 9 + screenshots leaked

With Gamescom 2019 behind us, we can prepare for the next big event: the Tokyo Game Show! In any case, Capcom is already warming up by launching a Project Resistance teaser site. It states that this game will be shown during TGS 2019 and also that we can expect a teaser trailer on September 9, 17:00 our time!

The Red one ‘RE‘in this logo make it abundantly clear that we are talking about a Resident Evil game, and that Project Resistance is just a code name. It is also striking that the game will already be playable at the Tokyo Gameshow.

In the meantime, some screenshots have also been leaked, showing characters we do not know from previous Resident Evil games. So it doesn’t seem to be another remake, but rather a co-op multiplayer game for four players. Hmm, interesting? Just wait until September 9, then we’ll know for sure!

First trailer for The Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope

The Dark Pictures: Man of Medan has been out since today and Bandai Namco apparently thought that a great opportunity to already drop a teaser trailer for the next part of the Dark Pictures series, titled Little Hope. The Guard understands that you will see this teaser if you have reached the correct ending in Man of Medan. Or of course if you read this Night Watch and start the YouTube video below.

The Dark Pictures Anthology is to be an eight-part series of independent horror games, from the kitchen of Supermassive Games, the makers of Until Dawn. The first part, Man of Medan, has just been released and Little Hope is scheduled for early 2020. Exciting!

14 minutes of GreedFall gameplay

Despite their somewhat disappointing The Technomancer, Spider’s new game still looks like a promising RPG. In a nice fantasy pirate sauce, too! But, what are you actually doing in that game? Well, RPG, fantasy and pirate stuff of course! You can see exactly what that looks like in this expanded gameplay walkthrough trailer.

GreedFall, mind you: with capital G and capital F, will be released September 10 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC!

This is what The Sinking City looks like on the Switch

If you as a developer still want to be taken a bit seriously in this world, then you have to make a Switch version of your game. At least that’s how it seems lately. They must have thought something similar with the Ukrainian Frogwares. Lovecraftian horror game The Sinking City was released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC in late June and is now also being brought to Nintendo’s hybrid device. And the way they do it, they like to show it in this new video. Unfortunately, the game was not well received on the other platforms. Does it deserve a second chance on the Switch? A release date will follow soon!

Hitman free with Xbox Games with Gold from September

The games that you will get with your Xbox Box Live Gold subscription in the coming month are known! The main title this month is Hitman, the reboot that appeared in several separate episodes in 2016 and is therefore still referred to as ‘first season’. Fine! The other games are We Were Here, Earth Defense Force 2025 and Tekken Tag Tournament. The latter two are originally Xbox 360 titles, but are now also playable on Xbox One (X). See the entire overview here, including data:

  • Hitman: The Complete First Season (September 1-30)

  • We Were Here (September 16 to October 15)

  • Earth Defense Force 2025 (September 1-15)

  • Tekken Tag Tournament 2 (September 16-30)

We usually know the new Xbox Games with Gold games first, but this time PlayStation Plus was ahead of them. The games that you will receive in September (including Arkham Knight!) Can be seen in yesterday’s Guard.

Big new Monster Hunter World: Iceborne gameplay trailer

The massive expansion for Monster Hunter World should be almost here and that means more and longer trailers. That’s perfectly fine, especially when a whole bunch of new and old well-known monsters such as the Zinogre are introduced! Monster Hunter World: Iceborne will be released on September 6 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The PC version will follow in January 2020.

Ghost Recon Breakpoint gameplay explained as fairytale

Ubisoft has found an er… special way to present a normally so gritty game in a light way. In this extra-long new trailer, entitled Big Bad Wolves, you will discover how to outsmart the enemy in the game through five colorful fairy tales.

‘Once upon a time…’, or no, wait, really just October 4th, Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint will be released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.

Meet Captain America in Marvel’s Avengers

As if we haven’t known him for a long time, here’s the short but powerful ‘Character Profile trailer’ for Captain America. The version of him from the game Marvel’s Avengers, that is! We can therefore expect a handful of these types of trailers, which will be more or less as fascinating as this one. But hey, great food for the Night Watch!

Marvel’s Avengers is scheduled to release May 15, 2020, for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and even Google Stadia.

Overland will be released on September 19

The extremely stylish, post-apocalyptic, turn-based survival game Overland has been given a release date and such good news is of course not possible without a tasty, fresh trailer. De Wacht had never heard of it before, but was immediately sold by the nice atmosphere and the Into the Breach-like gameplay. Overland will release simultaneously on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC on September 19!

Have a good weekend!

That was it for now, have a nice Friday! Keep your head straight and your eyes on the road …

So Wreckfest has been very … surprising! from r / PS4
