Tencent Games and PUBG Corporation have released the full version of Update 0.14.0 for PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE (PUBG MOBILE). Today’s update brings the unprecedented Contamination Mode to the Zombie Mode of PUBG MOBILE, plus new Royale Pass themes and more. Players will be able to jump right into the new update, available for free on the App Store and Google Play.

At the beginning of this year, PUBG MOBILE collaborated with Resident Evil 2 to give the battlefield a more sinister look with the introduction of Zombie Mode. In this way of PUBG MOBILE, which has become wildly popular, players can put their mettle to the test against hordes of monsters to survive until dawn. For the first time, players can participate in player (human) versus player (zombie) matches, where they are divided into teams of Zombies and Defenders. While Defenders are equipped with firearms, zombies have special abilities as well as melee weapons. If all Defenders are infected, the zombies win!

In addition to the new Contamination mode, Update 0.14.0 includes:

  • Sea Treasure Theme – To continue the refreshing summer season, a beautiful theme of “Treasures of the Seven Seas” has been added to the main menu and items PUBG MOBILE;
  • World Hunt to the Treasury – This treasure themed update features a million dollar treasure hunt. Players can collect gold, silver, and bronze compasses to redeem rewards;
  • Royale Pass Season 8 – Player favorite items have returned to be unlocked and earned;
  • Daily Mission System Update – All daily challenges in the game release improved rewards to guarantee even greater chances of winning rare loots;
  • Background download on iOS – iOS players can now leave the PUBG MOBILE open in background to download updates;
  • Android Feature Extension Pack – Starting today, the install size of the game on Android has been reduced. Equipment rarely used in the game can be stored in the Resource Extension Pack until needed.

PUBG MOBILE is based on PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, the original battle royale game on PC and Xbox One that took the entire world of interactive entertainment by surprise in 2017.
