CrossCode for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 will be available in all major stores in Europe and North America from August 28, 2020. In addition, the exclusive and limited SteelBook Edition and Collector’s Edition are only available from Strictly Limited Games starting today. The digital editions will be available to pre-order soon from Nintendo eShop and the PlayStation Store and will be released on July 9, 2020.

CrossCode is a retro-inspired 2D game with a captivating sci-fi story and silky-smooth physics. Beautiful worlds and a fast-paced combat system are combined with excellent puzzle mechanics and lots of character growth options. With a strong main story and plenty of side content, you can spend up to 80 hours in the detailed, nostalgic pixel world.

CrossCode is set in the distant future where you follow a player named Lea. Lea logs into a fictional MMO called CrossWorlds. Lea suffers from amnesia and is mute. The path to reclaim Lea’s memory is to play CrossWorlds, discover all game locations and meet other players. Little by little as Lea’s memory returns, the mystery surrounding CrossWorlds will unravel – and you’ll find out why a stupid player is trapped in this game.
