Cubitek Tattoo Gaming Chassis Series, New PC Case for Gamers.

Cubitek, a new Taiwanese PC case manufacturer has released a new series of PC cases dubbed the Tattoo Gaming Chassis Series with three models: Tattoo Beta, Tattoo Pro, and Tattoo Fire.

Inspired by the tattoos of Maori warriors, the “tattoos” imprinted on these cases make them aesthetically powerful elements that create a new dimension in PC case design. In addition, Tattoo chassis have an innovation that has not been seen before in any other PC case: conveniently placed on the top panel, next to a mini USB cable and micro USB adapter, there is a tray that can be used to place mobile phones, digital cameras, external hard drives, etc… Thanks to this tray, the devices will be safe from falls while they are connected to the USB ports of the box.

The Tattoo Beta is a box with panels made of 0.7mm SECC (Steel Electrogalvanized ColdRolled Coil) primed in black. The Tattoo Pro is also primed black, but with a dusty finish and a window on the side. The Tattoo Fire has the exterior primed in black, while its interior is painted in fiery red, shown through a large side window. All three boxes feature “tattoos” on the side panels, and feature additional panels (which can be purchased separately) with other different images.

Inside, the Tattoo Series cases provide gaming enthusiasts with plenty of space. Up to 5 units of 3.5″ and 2 more of 2.5″ can be mounted. Additionally, it has 5 spaces to install 5.25″ devices on the front panel (one of them can be converted to mount a 3.5″ external hard drive). All of these bays, both 5.25″ and 3.5″ can be fully mounted without tools, and the hard drive bay can be removed for easier dust removal.

The panel that supports the motherboard has large holes to pass the cables more easily, and make changing the CPU cooler much easier. ATX, mATX and Mini-ITX format motherboards can be installed. It has 7 PCI slots, of course with tool-less installation. As for the power supply, units of up to 29cm can be mounted at the bottom of the box, and it has a dust filter. The maximum height of the processor heatsink is 160mm, and the maximum length of the graphics card is 29cm.

As for cooling, all three cases have a 140mm LED fan on the front panel (tool-less installation), as well as another similar fan on the top, to remove the hot air generated by the processor heatsink. The LEDs of both can be controlled via an On/Off button located on the top panel of the case. In addition to this, all three cases have an additional 120mm fan located at the rear of the case. On the Tattoo Beta, two additional 120/140mm fans can be mounted on the side panel (not included).

Airflow in all three cases is enhanced by rubber feet that raise the case high enough for the PSU fan to draw cool air into the case. In addition, the box has holes prepared to install liquid cooling if desired.

On the top panel are located the power and reset buttons, as well as two USB 2.0 ports, an e-SATA port and the usual HD Audio minijacks. In addition, a mini USB cable and a micro-USB adapter have been included, right next to the tray designed to house external devices. The dimensions of these boxes are 202 x 470 x 485 mm (W,H,D).
