Adam Kiciński and Michał Nowakowski – president and board member of CD Projekt, respectively – announced during a teleconference with investors that due to the postponement of the premiere of Cyberpunk 2077 later, potential additions and multiplayer for this title will also be released.

Given the delay in the release of CP77, there will be a commensurate delay in the release of such potential extensions. So far, we have not announced anything about the expected release date – they are in the production phase; of course, we don’t have them ready “in the drawer”. Extensions need to be prepared first.

As for the multiplayer version – here the situation is similar as in the case of extensions; the release of this version will be proportionally delayed, but we are talking about a slightly more distant future – said Michał Nowakowski.

The conversation also brought up the topic of the number of extensions – although we will have to wait for the details, there may be more additives than in the case The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.

As for the number of planned expansions after the premiere of CP77 – I would not assume anything until we announce this number. You will have to be patient; this information will eventually appear – probably soon – but it is determined by the schedule of our marketing campaign – said Michał Nowakowski.

The delay does not affect our plans for additional content – yes, it may affect release dates, but not the number of planned expansions. Saying “expect no less than” we can mean “expect a bit more” – added Adam Kiciński.

We would like to remind you that Cyberpunk 2077 will be released on November 19, 2020 on PCs, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The game will also be playable on next-gen platforms. On June 25, the Night City Wire show will take place, during which we will most likely see another gameplay from the production in question.
