Cyberpunk 2077 players are upset about asking for a refund and not staying with the game.

Cyberpunk 2077 certainly had one of the worst releases in gaming history. The said CD Projekt RED ultra ambitious project had raised expectations high, however, everything went downhill. Full of technical problems, which make the old gen experience terrible, the game encounters more and more problems daily. The latter is being considered too brutal, with several unprecedented implications. Thanks to the number of complaints regarding the game, PlayStation decided to remove the game from the store until it is playable. As a result, all players who request a refund are seeing the return of their money applied without much questioning by the Japanese company.

Surprisingly, some players are getting really upset after their refund request. The reason? Well, they wanted to continue to have access to the game. That’s right you understand. They are demanding a chargeback and are getting angry about losing access to the game. In the minds of these people, access to the title should be maintained as a kind of form of compensation. The story does not end there. Many players are reporting that they are getting the money back even after finishing the campaign. Some are even militating and / or platinizing the work. In short, it is as if the game is coming out for free to them.

Regarding PSN, Sony has not yet informed when the game will be put back in the store. Everything indicates that this will only happen in January, when a new robust update will be released. On the Xbox side, the American company did not remove the game from the store, however, there is a warning informing the game’s problems on the old consoles.

The future of Cyberpunk 2077

The launch fiasco certainly brought about drastic changes in the Polish company’s plans. Everything indicates that we will wait even more for the expansions of the game. Regarding updates, the studio has already promised two huge updates. One for January and one for February. These patches are being made in order to make older versions more “playable”.
