As part of today’s episode of Night City Wire, we got to know a few classes and vehicle models that we will drive in Cyberpunk 2077. We learned that in the game we will sit behind the wheel of both budget and economical cars, as well as sports cars that are great for racing or escapes. There will also be opportunities to drive powerful trucks, business limousines and motorcycles, and this is only a small part of what Night City residents will be able to travel with. From the materials below you can learn a little more about the vehicles shown today.
The developers briefly talked about how they worked on “bringing” the vehicles to life, so that players had the feeling that they were dealing with real (often very powerful) cars. We learned that the sounds of cars were recorded with real machines (more than 40 vehicles were used for this), which significantly increases their realism in the game, and care was taken to ensure that the interiors do not shy away from futuristic details and detailed equipment. In addition to fictional models, Cyberpunk 2077 will also feature a real car – the Porsche 911 Turbo (930) from 1977.
As part of Night City Wire, we could also see a video in which actor Keanu Reeves and Gard Hollinger (two founders of the Arch motorcycle brand) presented the work on implementing their two-wheelers in Cyberpunk 2077.
As a reminder, Cyberpunk 2077 will debut on November 19, this year on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S. The game recently went gold, so the release date is not in danger.
