CD Projekt RED needs all the people they can get to move forward with Cyberpunk 2077.
Although the second major expansion of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Blood and Wine, is still in the works, CD Projekt RED is already developing Cyberpunk 2077 with full force, which requires all the resources.
The team’s lead mission designer, Mateusz Tomaszkiewicz, told GameSpot in an interview that their focus is now entirely on the sci-fi role-playing game: “Right now we’re focusing on Cyberpunk 2077. It’s an incredibly ambitious and huge project, and we need everything every person who is available to finish it. There are already many people working on it and more and more people are joining them… we have already involved most of the studio staff in the development.”
Considering that, based on their previous statement, Cyberpunk 2077 will be much bigger than The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, it is no wonder that everyone who can be moved has been assigned to the development. Unfortunately, we are not expected to get more details before 2017, at least that’s what CD Projekt RED claimed earlier.
