Just three days after the launch of Destiny 2 Season of the Haunted, the latest Destiny Dungeon called Duality has gone live on all platforms. According to Bungie, the latest Destiny 2 Dungeon offers Season 17’s cutting-edge content, and as you’d expect, there’s some great loot to acquire.

How to start the A Single Thread quest in Destiny 2

To start the A Single Thread quest in Destiny 2 and access the new dungeon, you must first collect it from Suraya Hawthrone in the tower. You can find Hawthrone in the Bazaar section of the area.

Hawthrone will give you the quest as soon as you interact with her. Once you acquire the A Single Thread quest, the Duality Dungeon will be available to start in the Moon, right next to the Castellum.

However, if you do not own The Witch Queen Digital Deluxe Edition expansion, you will not be able to access the new Destiny 2 dungeon for free. Instead, you will need to purchase The Witch Queen Dungeon key from the Eververse store for 2000 Silver ($20). This will give you access to the Duality dungeon and an upcoming Season 19 dungeon.

Bungie has also listed several known issues with the Duality Dungeon, which you may experience while playing it.

They are –

  • Having the SFX volume set to zero in the Duality dungeon can lead to crashes.
  • Some Duality Dungeon enemies can sometimes spawn behind walls.
  • Players who ring the bell in the dungeon repeatedly and quickly may end up in a crash state where the bell will be unusable.
  • Players joining a squad in progress may become stuck and unable to move or be revived until the squad leaves the area.

That’s all you need to know to start the A Single Thread quest in Destiny 2 for the Duality Dungeon.

Available since the beginning of the weekend, the new dungeon called Duality will allow those who took the Deluxe Edition of The Witch Queen expansion with Season Pass or those who take access to this dungeon via the Dungeon Key of the Witch Queen costing the trifle of 2000 argentum – and the next one which will be offered in season 19 – to discover a rather profitable activity.

With the Duality dungeon, you will have to juggle between two psychic planes in order to beat Calus and his minions once again. Playable in a squad of three – but you can try it as a couple or solo (some have already succeeded it seems to me) – this dungeon mixes shooting with platforming sequences and a touch of puzzle. It works much like a mini raid for squad of three.

For having practiced it with my team, once the principle is understood during the different sequences, it is rather nice. However, we stumbled on the final boss even if we understood the strategy – but it was getting a little late to try it again ;). We’ll do that again, but overall it’s not too complex. Still, it will often be necessary to quickly clean up the mobs that come in large numbers.

When progressing, you will have two chests on the two intermediate bosses and therefore a final chest with very interesting rewards to level you up with legendary armor and weapons as well as an exotic weapon and its catalyst. If you’re a fan of stats, those for armor are pretty good.

Destiny 2: How to Get the Duality Dungeon Armor Set

Dungeon of Duality is the latest activity to be available in Destiny 2, and it’s packed with rewards like the Deep Explorer armor set. The Season of the Haunted story focuses on the nightmares that plague various Guardians, as well as the return of the abandoned Leviathan and Calus’ interest in the Pyramid on the Moon. Dungeon of Duality expands the story as the Guardian and his fireteam as they enter the captive mind of Calus and his nightmarish realm.

Much like the “Thorn” armor sets in Destiny 2, a Deep Explorer armor set is available for each Guardian class. With each encounter in the Dungeon of Duality, players will be able to randomly unlock a new piece of armor that will allow them to complete the set. However, unlike previously released dungeons, players can successfully complete each encounter multiple times per character to receive new rewards before the weekly reset. Likewise, the dungeon’s two secret chests have a chance to reward any previously acquired piece of gear with a random, potentially high, stat roll.

There are three encounters players can receive rewards for in the Duality Dungeon. In addition to armor pieces, players can also receive new dungeon weapons from each encounter, such as a reworked God Opulent Fusion Rifle. Destiny 2 known as the Epicurean. Between the five different pieces of armor for each class, the six different weapons, and the Exotic Heart Shadow sword, players will have to patiently repeat each encounter in hopes of getting the full set of armor for all of their Guardian classes. .

Destiny 2: Deep Explorer Armor Drops and Encounters

The three encounters from which players can earn the Deep Explorer armor sets are the Bearer of grief, the safe, and Calus’ greatest shame. The easiest way to ensure players earn all three sets as quickly as possible is to complete each encounter with a squad and exit the dungeon before the encounters start while squad members remain. Then, players must switch to another character, rejoin their squad, and repeat in order to earn checkpoints on all three characters. By earning checkpoints, players can obtain the various character armors in Destiny 2 and save time by dodging puzzles along the way.
