Unlike the previous part, Destiny 2 will be honored on PC as well and players will be able to beta a good deal on all three platforms before its release. We’ve put together in a bunch all the known details you just need to know about summer testing.
In vain did we feel in the first part that we are the kings of the neighborhood, in the story of the sequel we must watch helplessly as the Red Legion – led by Dominus Ghaul – arrives and destroys our home, Last City, to the ground. Activision shared a lot of information about Destiny 2’s upcoming beta recently, which many of you must have run over due to the big E3 hustle and bustle, so we thought we’d systematize the most important information about trying out Bungie’s online FPS:
When does the beta of Destiny 2 start?
On PlayStation 4:
– For pre-orderers: July 18, 19:00

– For everyone else: July 21 at 7 p.m.
On Xbox One:
– For pre-orderers: July 19, 19:00

– For everyone else: July 21 at 7 p.m.
On PC:
– For pre-orderers: end of August

– For everyone else: end of August
How long does the beta of Destiny 2 last?
No exact date yet, it is planned to last until July 23 on consoles (US time), not known on PC yet. Given that the first Destiny beta has been extended with a view to success, we can expect Bungie to step in this again.
What will the Destiny 2 beta include?
According to Bungie, we can get a taste of the story with the Homecoming quest that was shown at the announcement of Destiny 2 with a gameplay trailer:

Testers will also have the opportunity to try the Inverted Spire strike:
As for the castes, three new subclasses (Hunter Arcstrider, Warlock Dawnblade, Titan Sentinel) are sure to be available to betaers, but the studio hasn’t revealed more about them.
In addition, we can expect a number of PvP content, but the developers have not yet specified exactly what they will be.

Destiny 2 is expected to be released on PlayStation 4 (with exclusive content) and Xbox One on September 6, while PCs have to endure until October 24.
