DEUS EX: MANKIND DIVIDED – Original Soundtrack, featuring tracks by SASCHA DIKICIYAN, will be available this fall.
Square Enix and Eidos-Montréal are pleased to announce today that the original soundtrack to DEUS EX: Mankind Divided, produced in collaboration with Sumthing Else Music Works, will be available this fall. In addition to well-known composer Michael McCann, who has worked on previous titles in the series, award-winning German artist Sascha Dikiciyan (aka “Sonic Mayhem”) also collaborated on the composition of the new soundtrack.
For the soundtrack too DEUS EX: Mankind Divided Executive Audio Director Steve Szczepkowski has focused on bringing the music to the award-winning DEUS EX: Human Revolution to evolve so that the changes in the world of DEUS EX, whose dramatic events and developments in the predecessor culminated in the Aug incident, can be found in the current composition. The golden age of augmentation has passed and mechanically altered humans have been pushed to the fringes of society, and humanity is facing serious societal and political tensions. The music is meant to reflect the new state of the world without reflecting the true character and style of the music for which DEUS EX is known to lose. With the newly composed soundtrack, players can immerse themselves in this darker and more mature atmosphere.

“It was important not only to build on the strong foundation of Deus Ex: Human Revolution, but also to stand on our own two feet.
