This 2019 is expected to be a year of highly anticipated releases in the world of video games, where we will see some new titles and the continuation of great sagas. One of them is undoubtedly the long-awaited Devil May Cry 5, which has undergone a change in its minimum and recommended requirements for PC by Capcom. Can we play it with our PC? What graphics card will be enough?

Devil May Cry 5: the ultimate demon hunter

For those who do not know the Devil May Cry 5 saga, we will say that it is a type of game belonging to the hack and slash genre, which has monopolized millions of downloads and good reviews in the vast majority of titles that have belonged to its label and that its developer /distributor is Capcom.

The objective, apart from the story of the game itself, is easy and simple, as well as a lot of fun: fight against hordes of demons and destroy them through a variety of weapons and attacks that will be unlocked or improved along the way.

The story this time centers around some point after Devil May Cry 2, where both main characters are older and Nero has established his own demon hunting agency.

Said agency is, how could it be otherwise, very much in the style of Nero and its main plot revolves around the starting point where he swears revenge against the man who cut off his arm.

Denuvo returns to “protect” another Triple A title

The truth is that according to what we are reporting, Denuvo is not showing anything effective against certain groups of crackers such as CPY, since they usually manage to crack their protection system in record time.

Even so, the company will try to make this game unavailable for unauthorized use without your purchase at least at launch.

In the same way, and knowing that many will not like it, the game will not come dubbed into Spanish in the voices, although it will be in its interface, so we will have to use the subtitles to follow the narrative of the story.

Final and updated minimum and recommended requirements

It has been through Steam that we know the new requirements for Devil May Cry 5, which in turn are the final features to be able to play it.

Capcom has revealed the following minimum requirements:

  • OS: WINDOWS® 7, 8.1, 10 (64 Bit versions are required)
  • Processor: Intel® Core™ i5-4460, AMD FX™-6300, or better
  • Memory: 8GB RAM
  • Graphics: NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 760 or AMD Radeon™ R7 260x with 2GB of VRAM, or better
  • DirectX: Version 11
  • Storage: 35 GB of available space
  • Additional Notes: Support for Xinput controls recommended, internet connection required for activation.

The requirements recommended by Capcom will be:

  • OS: WINDOWS® 7, 8.1, 10 (64-bit version required)
  • Processor: Intel® Core™ i7-3770, AMD FX™-9590, or better
  • Memory: 8GB RAM
  • Graphics: NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 1060 with 6GB VRAM or AMD Radeon™ RX 480 with 8GB VRAM, or better
  • DirectX: Version 11
  • Storage: 35 GB of available space
  • Additional Notes: Support for Xinput controls recommended, internet connection required for activation.

This means that, since September, where Capcom announced the first requirements, they have achieved better optimization, since at that time the necessary CPU was an Intel Core i7 4770 or better.

Finally, the game points to the use of NVIDIA DLSS, although at the moment it is not clear if it will be from its launch on March 8 of this year or it will be implemented once it is launched and later.
