To celebrate the E3 2015 nintendo launches a promotion that allows us to play demos of 9 of the most anticipated indies for WiiU. We can try them until June 22nd and if we try them we will have a whole month to buy the full version with a 15% discount. Nice detail from Nintendo.
Ripstone’s Extreme Exorcism: In this Wii U paranormal platformer, every move players make comes back to haunt them. And it is that after successfully completing each round, a ghost will appear that will imitate each of the movements that they have made in the previous round. The longer a player survives, the more extreme the game becomes. The title offers 20 ghost hunting weapons, 50 challenges and cooperative battles and duels to the death for up to four friends. The full game is scheduled for release in the third quarter of 2015.
form.8 of Mixed Bag: In the distant future, the small forma.8 exploration probe has been stranded on the surface of an alien planet. Players must explore a vast open world to help the probe acquire ten different power-ups and recover a powerful energy source buried deep below the surface. The game includes an area exclusive to the Wii U version. The full game is scheduled for release this fall.
Freedom Planet from GalaxyTrail Games: Players must battle their way through the celestial world of Avalice, where cats are green, bikes climb walls, and monster girls are the ones cutting cod. In this cartoon-style combat-based platformer, we’ll see a gutsy “dragonoid” face off with her friends against an alien strike force. The full game is expected to launch on Wii U in August.
Lovely Planet by tinybuild and QUICKTEQUILA: This first person shooter in which bullets slowly dance in the air in the Matrix style is set in a colorful abstract world. The player must jump and shoot their way through five worlds filled with treacherous enemies with their trusty semi-automatic. The game offers one hundred levels to master and five worlds to discover, with multiple secrets hidden deep within each world. The full game is coming to Wii U in December.
Renegade Kid’s Mutant Mudds Super Challenge: A platformer that picks up where the original Mutant Mudds left off. Exclusive to Nintendo eShop for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS, the game features 40 new dimension-doubling levels and epic boss fights, only suitable for super players. The full game is scheduled to hit Nintendo consoles this summer.
RIVE of Two Tribes: A Wii U shooter that combines old-school values with execution from the new school of video game creation. Amid intense 360-degree platforming and shooting action, players learn to alter the behavior of their robotic enemies by collecting and uploading hacks. The full game will be released in November.
13AM Games Runbow: Up to nine players can join in the colorful mayhem in this exclusive Nintendo eShop game. The player will see the world transform before their very eyes with each splash of color, so they must think fast to survive. Go head-to-head in “Run, Arena and King of the Hill,” or become a ColorMaster and manipulate the environment with the Wii U GamePad. Players can take on challenges alone or with friends in Adventure mode. The full game includes characters from other Nintendo eShop titles. The full game will be released in the third quarter of the year.
Soul Axiom from Wales Interactive: Over 40 locations await you in this first-person sci-fi adventure for Wii U. It’s a psychological thriller with elements of exploration and puzzles. Players interact with cryptic logic puzzles, make psychological decisions and explore their memories to reveal the secrets of their identity. The title will be released in the fourth quarter of 2015.
Typoman from Headup Games: Change words and you will change worlds! Typoman is a 2D puzzle platformer that stands out for its original game world. Become the HERO and embark on a journey to become whole again and gain the powers you need to defeat the giant, evil demon that rules the world you find yourself trapped in. The title will arrive in the third quarter to Nintendo eShop.
