THE BATTLE FIELD IS EXPANDING
EA Games, Developer and Distributor, on its website, revealed that two new Battlefield experiences are in development, one for consoles and PC and one for mobile devices.

I know everyone wants more details on what’s to come in Battlefield™ this year, and I promise we’ll have A LOT to show in the coming months. We’re working on a few things for when we announce the next generation of Battlefield™, and we can’t wait to introduce them to you all… But for now, we have a few things to tell.
First, we’re really excited to have the biggest Battlefield™ development team in history working on our console and PC game this early this year… And second, we have an electrifying mobile ad!
EA Games – All-out war is back
The year 2021 is an exciting time for us here at DICE. Working with more of Electronic Arts’ top-notch development studios, we have our biggest team ever on a Battlefield™ game for console and PC. The folks at Criterion and DICE LA are working with us on our shared vision for the game, while the Gothenburg team is taking game technology to the next level. Together, we’re creating a jaw-dropping experience for you to enjoy even in 2021.
At the moment, we are doing daily tests: refining, tweaking and creating the best Battlefield™ possible. I can say that we are taking a bold step. It has everything we love about Battlefield™, and it takes it to a whole new level. Epic scale. All-out military war. Insane and unexpected moments. Innovative destruction. Great battles, full of people and chaos like never before. It all comes alive with the power of next-gen consoles and PCs.

A new Battlefield™ game for mobile devices is coming in 2022
Our vision has always been to take Battlefield™ to more platforms. So, after years of prototyping, I’m thrilled to announce that the guys at Industrial Toys, working closely with us here at DICE, are developing an all-new Battlefield™ game that will lead to all-out war for smartphones and tablets in 2022 .
Make no mistake: it’s an independent game. A completely different game from what we are creating for console and PC, designed specifically for the mobile platform. It is being created from scratch by iToys to make portable Battlefield™ a reality. It will be a complete experience that will require skill. This mobile game is now entering a testing period before launch next year. Therefore, more details will be announced later.
