Emmy 2017 winners – these were the best series of the past year.
The awards for the best TV productions were handed over last night, and the paper form certainly didn’t win everywhere.
Prominent representatives of the profession again this year chose which series and who were the actors who surpassed everyone with their impressive performance.
After winning the Battle of the Thrones in 23 categories last year and sweeping through a number of awards (making it the most Emmy-collecting series of all time), HBO’s golden egg-laying hen wasn’t even nominated this year. Of course not because it would have been bad, they simply slipped out of the deadline because of the late start of the season, but rest assured, the seventh season will start next year. Westworld also got 22, but they didn’t really manage to turn them into prizes. Handmaid’s Tale, on the other hand, was huge, and Big Little Lies also collected some awards. Here are the winners:
