Football fans can finally mark the date in their calendars – Football Manager 2021 will be released on November 24 on the Epic Games Store and Steam. This year, the FM series will be available on more platforms than ever before, including a return to Xbox for the first time since 2007.

Football Manager 2021 is coming to PC, Mobile, Switch and Xbox on November 24.

FM21 is the successor to Sports Interactive and SEGA’s record-breaking FM20, which just enjoyed a hugely successful free period on the Epic Games Store. From today until launch, fans who pre-purchase FM21 (for PC and Mac) from a SEGA-approved digital retailer will receive a 10% discount and the chance to start their management career ahead of schedule with Early Access to FM21. Early Access will be available approximately two weeks prior to the official street date, and single-player careers started during that time can carry over to the final game. Early Access is available for the first time on the Epic Store, as well as on Steam.

FM21 puts a renewed focus on the role of the manager and adds more tools for managers to develop their personality and competence. New additions and game upgrades provide unparalleled levels of football authenticity and added layers of depth and drama. We will be revealing features and licensing updates through Football Manager social media channels and the Football Manager website from the beginning of October.

Sports Interactive studio director Miles Jacobson said: “Football Manager 2021 is a historic release for us as a studio. We’re bringing FM to more platforms than ever before and giving more people the chance to manage their favorite club – whether on their PC, from the comfort of their couch or on their phone or tablet. “

For the first time in over a decade, Football Manager returns to Xbox. Football Manager 2021 Xbox Edition will be released before the end of the year and is a specially tailored version of the game – modeled after the popular Touch series – that has been fully adapted for optimal performance with the Xbox controller.

Available on the Xbox Store, FM21 Xbox is a Play Anywhere digital title that allows players to play their saved games on their Xbox console and any Windows 10 PC. The game will be available on Xbox One and the upcoming next-generation Xbox consoles – Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X – and you only pay once to play in the Xbox ecosystem.

Full information on features and functionality will be revealed on the social FM channels in early November.

Football Manager Touch (on Epic, Steam, Nintendo Switch iOS and Android) and Football Manager Mobile (on iOS and Android) are coming. As in previous years, FM21 Touch on PC and Mac is available as a standalone game on Epic Games and Steam, and free to anyone who purchases FM21 for Steam or Epic Games. FM21 Touch on Nintendo Switch will be joining the team in December and release details for other platforms will be announced in October via our social media channels. Full feature information for both Mobile and Touch can be expected in early November.
