GENERAL

PERFORMANCE

  • We fixed a rare crash that occurred when taking the game out of focus, such as “alt-tab”, and returning to the game.
  • We have reduced Mac hitches caused by graphics card allocations.

  • The Shadowstone icon appears in empty Inventory spaces when dispersing on mobile devices.

BATTLE ROYALE

WEAPONS AND ITEMS

  • Shadow Stones
    • Consumable usually found in corrupted areas of the map.
    • Using a Shadow Stone applies “Shadow Form” for a brief period.
    • In Shadow Form:
      • It is not possible to use weapons.
      • You are invisible to enemies while standing still.
        • You become more visible and leave a Shadow Trail when you move.
      • You gain movement speed, jump height and immunity to fall damage.
      • You gain a new ability, Immaterialize, which can be activated by pressing the Main Attack button.
        • Immaterialize: Throws you in the direction you are facing and allows you to pass through objects.
      • The effect lasts 45 seconds, but you can exit before holding Alt + Shooting Button (aim with a firearm).
  • We put the Pulse Grenade, the Submachine Gun with Suppressor, the Light Machine Gun, the Quicante and the Remote Explosives in the Vault.
    • Currently, all weapons / items placed in the Vault in patch v.6.0 will continue to be available in the Playground.
  • We added impulse functionality to the Demeler. Upon reaching a moving object (vehicle, player), the momentum will be added to its propelling force.
    • This only happens in cases where the impulse would be a gain; you never lose momentum.
  • We reduced the loader from the Puller from 15 to 10.
  • We’ve reduced the damage of the Double-barreled Shotgun from 143/150 to 114/120
  • We reduced the chance of withdrawing Double Pistols from Floor Looting from 1.49% to 0.88%.

  • Players will no longer be launched with more force than intended when using a Puller on a vehicle.
  • Using a Destacker when using a Launch Pad will no longer cause problems with inventory functionality.
  • The upper half of the player model will no longer be clipping when using the Puller when crouching.
  • We fixed a visual problem that could cause the Unclogger to be unclogged while the projectile was active.
  • Players are no longer prevented from changing equipment by firing the Demeler while switching weapons.
  • We set the time for the Heavy Sniper Reload animation to better match the bullet reload time.
  • We have reduced the amount of force applied when shooting at a vehicle using a Shotgun.

  • Start pairing with the data entry device of your choice. You will enter the queue with the type of data entry you use to press the “Play” button.
    • If you start pairing with a keyboard and mouse, you will enter the player selection queue on the PC. However, if you want, you can switch to a controller in the middle of the game.
    • If you start pairing with a controller, you will remain in your platform’s default queue. However, you will not be able to switch to a keyboard and mouse in the middle of the game.
  • Custom Control Links
    • We changed the configuration selection to a selector on the left side of the menu.
      • After selecting Custom, selectable buttons are enabled on the right side of the menu. When clicking on a button, it opens a list of actions that can be assigned to that button.
      • We changed the mode selection (Combat, Construction) to trigger selection. When you are in Combat or Construction mode, the actions for each mode and the actions between the modes will appear in the “selectable list of actions”.

PERFORMANCE

  • We optimized the texture link rendering code on the Switch. This improves the performance of the processor and GPU, resulting in smooth gameplay and rendering at higher resolutions.

  • Optimizations in game processing
    • We optimize the movement of supply deliveries.
  • We have improved the performance and memory of Android devices using Vulkan.

  • We optimize memory on mobile devices to reduce the chances of low performance when there are many applications running in the background.

AUDIO

  • Players will now have the option to select their favorite song from the Locker Room. Unlock new music with the Season 6 Battle Pass.
  • We changed the step processing to add more contrast between the up / down steps. Steps down now have more echo as if they were coming from the basement.
    • The pitch of the footsteps gets more and more severe the further below you are and the pitch becomes more acute the further up you are.
    • We slightly increased the volume of steps blocked by terrain, buildings or structures built by players.

  • We increased the distance at which you can hear the sounds of open / close hang gliders.
  • We increased the audio range of players parachuting to match that of players gliding.
  • We added a doppler effect on the audio tone when gliding.

ART AND ANIMATION

  • Pets now available!

Bug Fixes

  • We made a small visual change in the part below the arms of the Travertine T-shirt.
    • This will correct several visual problems caused by the t-shirt during certain animations and gestures.

REPLAY SYSTEM

  • The replay display speed can now be adjusted with a control when the replay HUD is hidden.
  • We move the “High Quality Effects” option to the Lens Settings and automatically hide some aperture and focus settings when the depth of field effect is not active.
  • Replays now correctly use the set of movement keys in the Data Entry settings.
  • We inverted the default third-person camera direction so that the controls are consistent with those of other cameras.

Bug Fixes

  • The third-person camera now works with the inverted Y-axis option.
  • Alt will no longer open the inventory screen during replays.
  • The “Next” button will no longer stop working when the replay is paused.

MISSIONS AND SYSTEMS
