How do I complete the Fortnite Named Locations challenge?
Fortnite Week 9 Challenges contains the following mission:
- Visit the Named Locations Center (4 total, 5 Battle Stars)
(Another challenge this week is the location of the Haunted Hills Treasure Map.)
Visiting the center of the named locations is theoretically very easy. This literally means that you have to reach the middle of four named locations. Think of Tilted Towers or Anarchy Acres.
You only have to raise a flag in the middle of the location, because only then that matters. Additionally, you have to visit all four locations in one match to complete the challenge.
This is what the mast looks like:
And this is what it looks like when the flag is hanging:
It’s best to choose quiet locations if you want to complete the challenge quickly. So get the tilted towers out of your head!
As you approach the center of the named location, you will hear the mast twinkle. If you are close enough, the flag is automatically raised, which immediately counts as one of your visits.
Do this a total of four times and you will complete your challenge. You have to complete this challenge while playing a match, so watch out for other players who want to make you a little smaller.
Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 3 has started. This of course means a new Fortnite Season 3 Battle Pass and new challenges such as finding the safe and key card for Catty Corner and the Gnomes in Homely Hills in week 1. Fortnite Named Locations – Search between these locations
You only have to visit four of the twenty different named locations, so you can decide which route you want to take.
Our advice is that you pick four that are relatively close to each other and get off at the end of the battle bus ride so that there are fewer players around you. For example, we chose Flush Factory, Lucky Landing, Fatal Fields, and Salty Springs.
Here are the twenty locations on the map. More than enough choice, then!
- Junk Junction
- Anarchy Acres
- Risky coils
- Haunted hills
- Pleasant park
- Tomato Town
- Wailing Wood
- Booty lake
- Snobby Shores
- Inclined towers
- Dusty Divot
- Retail line
- Lonely Lodge
- Greasy Grove
- Shifty Shafts
- Salty Springs
- Deadly fields
- Flush Factory
- Lucky Landing
- Moisty mire
Once you’re done, there are more Fortnite challenges to complete, including the Haunted Hills Treasure Map. So keep playing!
