Find stone heads in Fortnite
The challenges of Fortnite Week 9 require you to complete the following mission:
- Visit different stone heads (7 total, 5 Battle Stars)
(Another challenge this week is finding the Fortnite Shifty Shafts treasure map.)
As this challenge suggests, there are seven Stone Heads scattered around the map. All you have to do is get closer to the stone head to add them to your total.
The advantage is that these stone heads can be seen from a distance, so normally you can find them easily. However, if you want to check all locations immediately, check this map:
How do you know what the stone heads in Fortnite are looking at?
For Fortnite Week 6 challenges, you need to do the following:
- Find what the stone heads are looking at (1 total, 10 Battle Stars)
There are several stone heads scattered around the map, 6 in total. Oddly enough, they are all looking in a certain direction.
If you were to draw a line from their gaze for each stone head, you would see that they all cut at some point. Here you have to start the search.
Fortunately, with this guide, you don’t have to go into all the stone heads and figure everything out on your own. As with the treasure map challenges, you can just go to the right place and grab the solution immediately.
In the section below you will immediately find the right solution. If you’d rather find the right location yourself, good luck!
One final tip: like other challenges, you must complete it in a match. Avoid enemies for as long as possible until you find the stone heads.
Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 3 has started. This of course means a new Fortnite Season 3 Battle Pass and new challenges such as finding the safe keycard for Catty Corner and the Gnomes at Homely Hills in week 1. For a look at everything we know you can also check out our article on the Fortnite Season 3 preview with all the challenges.
Stone Heads location and where to look
As we mentioned before, you can find six stone heads on the map. But you shouldn’t be looking for all of them, you can also go where their fields of view intersect.
You will find the correct location on top of a grassy plateau just southwest of Salty Spring, on the left side of square F7.
The easiest way to get to where stone heads turn is by plane. Jump straight from the Battle Bus to the right spot and you’re done. Or, of course, you can build a climbing ramp at the bottom of the plateau.

Good luck finding Stone Heads locations and where exactly to look. When you’re done, other Fortnite challenges await of course!
