In a market so dominated by Fortnite, it is sometimes easy to forget that there are other battle royales available – many of them also very solid games, and sometimes with a huge fan base all over the world.
This is the case for Garena Free Fire – a battle royale exclusive for mobile devices launched in 2017 that even won the “Best Game in Popular Vote” award from the Google Play Store in 2018.

Free Fire works similarly to other battle royales on the market, but if you are a novice player, there are a few things you should know. So on this page, we’ll cover Garena Free Fire Tips and Tricks to help you win.
Free Fire Cheats and Tips
By now, you should already know the basic workings of a battle royale, but a brief explanation follows – you are thrown onto a map, whose boundary decreases over time, and your goal is to kill all players until you are the last survivor.

Characters
Unlike, for example, Fortnite, in Garena Free Fire the characters will have some differences between them and that you should get to know for gameplay purposes.

They all have a distinct special ability, which you can see below:
- 1. Ford – Damage reduced outside the safe area
- 2. Olivia – Players revived by Olivia receive extra HP
- 3. Andrew – Decrease in loss of vest durability
- 4. Kelly – Increase running speed
- 5. Nikita – Reloads the submachine gun faster
- 6. Misha – Increases driving speed and reduces damage done within vehicles
- 7. Maxim – Reduces the time to eat mushrooms and use meda-kits
- 8. Kia – Increases wrist damage
- 9. Paloma – AR ammunition does not occupy space in the inventory
- 10. Miguel – Obtains EP with each death
- 11. Caroline – Increased speed while loading a shotgun
- 12. Antonio – Receives extra HP when the round begins
- 13. Wukong – Become a bush to avoid shooting
- 14. Moco – Tag an enemy when Moco fires for a few seconds
- 15. Hayato – The lower the HP, the greater the penetration of armor

General Tips and Tricks for Free Fire
Land in less popular places

A slightly obvious tip, but it has its logic – our advice is to land in a less popular place in order to avoid being killed right at the start of the game.
Search and collect important items
Another tip that is also obvious but that makes perfect sense – regardless of where you land, you should immediately try to find a weapon in order to have a tool that you can use to defend yourself. Healing items are also very important, so keep an eye out!
Stay on the edge of the safe zone

Once you know what the safe zone is, your instinct may be to automatically go to your center. However, the best thing is to wait and wait at the rear, close to the border of the safe zone.
Avoid enemies
Although killing enemies is part of Free Fire, it is not a mandatory requirement. The objective is to survive and, if you really want to be the final winner, then the best thing is to avoid confrontations at all costs.

Hide behind Shrubs and Rocks
Especially when the game is coming to an end, it is best to hide behind a bush or rock. They will be able to give you the perfect opportunity to ambush your enemies – hopefully, the only enemy left to kill!
