4. The cruelty of the Stark sisters

Several seasons of Arya honing her skills as an assassin, then trying to become a nobody in the House of Black and White.

She is trained in martial arts, poison control and finally receives an assignment that she doesn’t get.

A girl tries to be killed, but is victorious in a “fight” with the Black and White House and is sent to Westeros.

One of the strongest scenes of the 6th seasonArya kills Walder Frey after serving him a cake with the dismembered parts of his children.

So he crosses some names off his “revenge list.”

And Sansa Stark has found a way to get back at Ramsay Bolton for Rickon’s abusive marriage and murder: she’s let the dogs eat Ramsay alive.

5. Bran is the next Three-Eyed Raven.

In the sixth season there were a lot of problems because of Bran. For example, Hodor loses his mind when he is led to believe that his purpose in life is to hold the door (In English. “Hold the door”), which the rebellious dead try to open.

The phrase gradually transforms into “Hodor” (In English. “Hodor”).

Bran may have had something to do with the Mad King’s madness as well. However, all the mishaps helped him acquire magical powers.

At the end of the season, Bran becomes the Three-Eyed Raven, replacing the old man in the tree. He returns to have visions of the past and partially knows the secret of the origins of his stepbrother Jon Snow.

Apparently, his father was Rhaegar Targaryen.

Benjen disappeared early in the first season, but has been referred to by numerous characters throughout the action.

At the end of the sixth season, Benjen rescues Bran Stark and his partner Mira. He explains that the scouts were attacked by White Walkers while walking past the Wall, one of whom stabbed him with an ice spear and left him for dead.

The children of the forest saved his life by piercing his heart with a shard of dragon crystal. However, like the other Winterspawn, he cannot pass through the Wall, which is protected by ancient magic.

7. Sam set out to learn

Sam, Gilly and their son arrive in the Old City. On the record, Sam announces that his goal is to become a maester.

You are allowed to enter the Citadel’s library, where you can now acquire more knowledge.

This is a plot line that is not fully revealed. Maybe she’s the one that sheds light on the white walkers.

A couple of tips from me.

  • It is better to watch the series in its original language with Russian subtitles. The play on words intended by the authors cannot be translated into Russian without losing the meaning. And also the intonations, the voices.
  • On the night of July 17-18, a Moscow metro station will host the screening of the premiere of the seventh season of Game of Thrones. Which one, I don’t know. If you know anything about it, please share the information.
