GameStar Movie Review – Transformers: The Last Knight, Armed and Vuk.

Michael Bay’s giant robots are once again invading movie screens, but whoever isn’t attracted to Mark Wahlberg and autobots will not be bored either, as Noomi Rapace’s action film is introduced and a classic cartoon also returns refurbished.

This week we received news about the biggest franchises that we just opened our mouths. It looks like Sony’s Spider-Man Universe will somehow still be connected to Marvel and then, Scarlett Johansson promises amazing scenes for the next Avengers movie, Mark Wahlberg will leave the Transformers series and the Fantastic Four could get another reboot. Have you heard that Dragon Ball can continue in Hungarian?

Anyone who may not have seen it yet should definitely check out (again) the new trailer for Season 7 of the Battle of the Thrones, but only the one who has already gotten this far in the series because he is a spoiler. Winter has arrived!

And the new Transformers too, but no need to worry, there are other things to see. Here are:

GameStar Movie Review – Transformers: The Last Knight, Armed and Vuk

Transformers: The Last Knight

Michael Bay brings us a spectacular battle of camouflage and autobots for the fifth time, while in the lead role we see Mark Wahlberg for the second time trying to entertain us for more than two hours with a space lord, an English lord (Anthony Hopkins) and an Oxford professor (Laura Haddock). Anyone who has liked the previous parts knows what to expect from Transformers: Even the last knight who doesn’t knows that it’s worth avoiding that, too. Nonetheless, Puliwood’s critique is far from describing it as horrible as most critics paint the film, so keep that in mind.

Unlocked

In a new action thriller by Red and Salt Agent producers, Noomi Rapace (Prometheus, The Tattooed Girl), as a CIA prisoner’s agent, gets into a huge mess in London: he must simultaneously prevent a biological attack and find out who has infiltrated the agency. Of course, you can trust a few people and you don’t know which of the characters in Orlando Bloom, John Malkovich, Toni Collette and Michael Douglas is the culprit. Armed is like a cross between Angelina’s agent Jolie Salt and The Kidnapped movies Liam Neesona, so it’s perfect for an easy, mediocre recreation.

(Curiosity: Noomi Rapace’s nose broke on set when she accidentally hit herself with her elbow.)

Vuk

Attila Dargay would turn 90 on June 20, and in honor of the anniversary, Pannonia Entertainment will be sending the master’s greatest classic, Vuk, back to cinemas in a digitized, refurbished version. Surely everyone has seen the cult tale based on István Fekete’s novel, but it never hurts to repeat it, especially on such an occasion.

(Curiosity: In the English version, Vuk’s name is Vic and his wife is called Foxy.)
