Square Enix Ltd. today announced that FINAL FANTASY CRYSTAL CHRONICLES Remastered Edition, the long-awaited new version of this action role-playing adventure for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and iOS and Android mobile devices, will be released alongside a free downloadable demo titled FINAL FANTASY CRYSTAL CHRONICLES Remastered Edition Lite.
In FINAL FANTASY CRYSTAL CHRONICLES Remastered Edition Lite The first three dungeons will be playable in both single player and cross-platform online multiplayer modes. In addition, those who buy the full game will be able to organize multiplayer games with users of FINAL FANTASY CRYSTAL CHRONICLES Remastered Edition LiteSo a group of up to four Legionnaires can travel together up to 13 dungeons in this fantastic adventure with a single copy of the full game. Progress can be carried over to FINAL FANTASY CRYSTAL CHRONICLES Remastered Edition Lite to the full game, so players can continue this magical fantasy adventure without interruption.
On the other hand, today a series of improvements have been announced in the gameplay of FINAL FANTASY CRYSTAL CHRONICLES Remastered Edition that will make this adventure even more unforgettable. In addition to the imitation feature, which will allow players to adopt the appearance of the various characters they will encounter on their way, the following enhancements are included:
- Quick chat: new tactical commands to give simple textual instructions to allies during online multiplayer games.
- Magic timer: a new mechanic that helps players combine their magic attacks to make the most of their power.
- Interface improvements: The maximum capacity for materials has been expanded to enjoy the adventure without complications, and a minimap has also been added that gives players a tactical view of the environment at all times.

- Updated soundtrack: Kumi Tanioka, the songwriter of the original game, has re-composed over 50 songs especially for FINAL FANTASY CRYSTAL CHRONICLES Remastered Edition, including re-recorded versions of the unforgettable songs Sound of the Wind and Starry Moonlit Night.
FINAL FANTASY CRYSTAL CHRONICLES Remastered Edition will launch digitally on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, App Store, and Google Play Store on August 27, 2020.
