GTA Online | Update brings new mode and more.

THE Rockstar does not stop bringing news in GTA Online. Check out what the company is bringing to the game below.

New mode: Target Assault Races

Fast and Stylish in San Andreas continues at high speed with a new mode. Attention, pilots and snipers: it’s time to get together and test your chemistry in a new race mode, pitting speed against precision in the fight for first place.

In Target Assault Races, now available in GTA Online, players will pair up and fasten their belts in armed vehicles, one on the steering wheel and the other on the trigger. The sniper is responsible for destroying targets with a mounted weapon, while the pilot runs to overtake opponents and earn additional points in the rounds. After each lap, the pilot and the shooter change positions. The pair that finishes with the most points wins.

Finishing the laps between the top three and crossing the checkpoints before your opponents guarantee bonus points, but accuracy is the star here. You will score more with smaller targets, and even more if you hit them right in the center. Ordinary snipers can delight in the larger green targets, but if you accumulate shots in the center of the smaller red targets, you will leave the competition behind on the scoreboard.

As a pilot, play according to your partner: if he is hitting several targets in a row, do not overdo the acceleration so he can maintain the sequence of hits. Then just run to the next checkpoint.

Target Assault Races are available today in GTA Online, with seven different tracks and a variety of vehicles made for attacks, including the new Vapid Caracara. Access the Serial Targeted Assault icon on the map to earn double GTA $ and RP for the entire week.
