GTFO: Biggest Update Ever Releases New Rundown and More.

Developer 10 Chambers Collective has revealed that GTFO will receive the most extensive multiplayer update ever released, including a new Rundown and gameplay mechanics that enhance the replay factor.
According to a statement from the studio, Rundown Rebirth will provide access to the unique Floodways environment, which adds elements of nature to make expeditions in the underground Complex Complex more difficult. The map has new enemies, weapons and objectives, as well as significant gameplay changes that contribute to improvements in the replay factor.
The big news of the expansion is the introduction of Boosters, a new game system that offers “skill enhancements, like boosted damage from assault rifles, or increased speed when hacking computers.” The idea behind them is to further streamline game approaches and continuity, turning each expedition into a different journey from power ups, items, equipment and more.
“We are building the foundation for GTFO to get out of its early access. The Layered Difficulty and Boosters keep the title as the hardcore challenge we’ve always wanted it to be, but at the same time fair to new players looking to join our fantastic community of prisoners. With Rebirth, we’re also expanding the lore. ‘Who are you and how did you end up at the Complex?’ Some of these questions can be answered in this new Rundown if the player finds the correct clues,” said Simon Viklund, Director of Narrative.

With the addition of Rundown, players will also have the option to configure difficulty levels, each of which will offer new route paths and diversified ways to accomplish missions. Layered difficulties will range from very difficult to extremely difficult and promise to deliver the biggest challenge ever to come in the game, along with many other new rewards.
GTFO is available in early access exclusively on PC.
