[GUIDE] : how to Unlock OnePlus 7 Pro bootloader and enter Fastboot mode Part two

Restart with the buttons

You can try to restart it, as usual, with the Power button. To do this, first turn it off, wait a bit before turning it on again.

If you can’t turn it off, you’ll have to be more radical: force it to turn off. Are you wondering how to do it? If it runs out of power, your device will inevitably turn off. For this, you have 2 solutions, everything happens at the battery level.

Remove the battery

Depending on the Samsung, Huawei, Xiaomi, Wiko, Meizu or Asus smartphones and tablets, it is possible to remove the battery. If you can :

  • disassemble the cover to remove it;
  • remove the battery;
  • after switching off your device, give it a few moments;
  • reinsert the battery;
  • use the button Power to turn it on.

The fastboot mode should be removed and thus turn on normally.

Wait for the battery to discharge

If the battery is not removable, you will be stuck and you have no choice but to wait for the battery to discharge which will cause your Android to shut down. It can take a long time, especially if the battery is 100% charged and there is nothing special you can do to speed up its discharge. Normally you will have opened a game that consumes well and the battery could have melted quickly while having fun.

Once the battery is discharged, all you have to do is recharge your device and wait for it to be sufficiently charged to turn on.

ADB command

There are various ADB commands.

By plugging your Android into your computer, you will need to enable USB debugging. Thus, you will be able to access the corner of your device.

Using the command terminal, you will be able to type adb reboot or fastboot reboot then validate by pressing the key Entrance. These two commands instruct your Android to restart normally.

If you type adb reboot recovery in the terminal, the device will restart in recovery mode and you can select reboot system now. The effect is the same, but the path is diverted.
