[HOT] : Realme to launch MagDart, an alternative to the iPhone 12 MagSafe charger
Realme is reportedly currently working on its own version of Apple’s MagSafe charger. Responding to the name of DagMart, the first details about this device were revealed in several documents from the European Union Office for Intellectual Property.
Remember, at the end of 2020, Apple introduced the MagSafe charger, a magnetic wireless charging technology inspired by the charger of old MacBooks and Apple Watch. Its main feature is to improve and facilitate induction charging, by aligning the iPhone 12 perfectly with the charging stand using magnets.
Since the launch of MagSafe, Apple has launched many compatible accessories, like this external battery recently unveiled by the Apple brand. And as you can imagine, this technology is envious and some manufacturers are already working on their own version of the MagSafe wireless charger. This is particularly the case with Realme.
REALME PLANS ON ITS OWN VERSION OF APPLE MAGSAFE
Indeed, Realme has just registered the MagDart trademark with the European Union Office for Intellectual Property. The description of the product in question does indeed mention the presence of magnets for wireless charging. In other words, we have before us Realme’s response to Apple’s MagSafe.
In addition and always according to the description, the product fits into the ninth category of goods and services, which includes batteries for smartphones, tablets, laptops, and especially wireless charging technologies for smartphones. Note that the MagDart trademark was registered by Realme on July 14, 2021, the operation is therefore very recent and for the moment, the trademark registration is still under review and awaiting approval.
Unfortunately, this is the only information revealed by these documents from the European body for intellectual protection. For his part, Realme has not yet made an official announcement regarding this technology., which should cover exactly how Apple’s MagSafe works.
As a reminder, Realme has just unveiled the Realme GT Master Edition, a smartphone equipped with a Snapdragon 870, a 4500 mAh battery and a 6.55 ″ AMOLED screen in FHD +. The photo set would be developed by Kodak, the two companies having recently confirmed a new partnership.
