House of Marley introduces sustainable Exodus headphones from 2019 collection.

House of Marley, known for its sustainable and socially responsible audio products, introduces the Exodus. These wireless, over-ear headphones deliver excellent sound and are made of FSC® certified wood, recyclable aluminum and natural leather. More products from the 2019 collection will be launched later this year, including the fully wireless ‘Liberate Air’ earbuds and the Bluetooth version of the ‘Stir it up’ turntable. In addition, the Exodus will be introduced in an Active Noise Canceling variant.
House of Marley was created in partnership with the Marley family as a tribute to Bob Marley. The brand is based on the principles and philosophy of its namesake. Marley’s core values can be found in all products: superior quality and durability. By combining high-quality materials with innovative and eco-conscious design, the eco-friendly audio manufacturer creates state-of-the-art products that are better for the earth and for the music.

More and longer listening pleasureThe Exodus over-ear headphones have an impressive 30 hours of battery life. This means it has the longest battery life of all House of Marley headphones and offers longer listening pleasure per charge. Is the battery empty? Then you can fully charge it within two hours and enjoy a perfectly balanced acoustic performance thanks to the 50 mm hi-definition drivers.
Easy in useThanks to the Bluetooth LE technology, the headphones are easy to connect, have a longer range and require less energy from connected devices. The luxurious memory foam ear cushions provide the highest level of comfort. In addition, you can take the Exodus with you wherever you go, thanks to the foldable travel design, the control buttons on the ear cup and the built-in microphone for hands-free calling.
“We wanted to design over-ear headphones that could be used for extended periods of time without causing discomfort or acoustic fatigue,” said Josh Poulsen, Director of Product Development at House of Marley. “In addition, the headphones had to be made of premium, durable material and contain retro design elements. In the case of the Exodus, our focus on sustainability extends beyond the materials used. The craftsmanship with which the product is made extends the life and thus the durability of the headphones. The emphasis on comfort also allows the user to enjoy his or her music for longer.”
Project MarlyIn partnership with the organization ‘One Tree planted’, House of Marley plants a tree for every item sold in an area where reforestation is necessary. Since 2017, House of Marley has helped plant 168,000 trees. In this way, the brand wants to draw attention to the consumption and waste production of the plastic-driven consumer electronics market. Reforestation leads to CO2 compensation, cleaner air, water purification and greater biodiversity in the forests worldwide and thus has a positive impact on a social and economic level and, of course, on the environment.
Price and availabilityThe Exodus is available from today via Coolblue, Bol, Baxmusic, FNAC and Mediamarkt. The suggested retail price of the headphones is 189.90 euros. The Exodus comes with a premium storage pouch made from REWIND™ upcycled fabric.
