The trick is fairly simple to perform, but unfortunately it requires a keyboard and mouse compatible with your console.
To do the trick, connect your keyboard and mouse to the console, run Modern Warfare, go to keyboard and mouse options, and find the “Killstreaks & Vehicles” tab. There you will have to look for the option “behavior of the armor plates” and change it to “apply all”.
As soon as you’ve done that, disconnect the keyboard and mouse, and from now on the default button on the controller will apply all the plates by holding it down once.
On PC, with pressing the button several times, the different plates are applied, but on the console it is required to hold down the button, which makes us lose quite valuable time. With this configuration change, all plates are now simply applied to you by pressing the button once.
