HYTE, iBUYPOWER’s PC components, peripherals and lifestyle brand, today announced the release of CNVS, the Intense Play Mat desktop pad paired with Nexus, the personal application software designed as a high-fidelity solution for HYTE qRGB products and as a universal hardware support platform.

Already announced at CES 2023, the CNVS features a 50-pixel qRGB lighting panel framing the massive 900 x 370mm seven-layer gaming desk pad. With a continuous lighting over the power hub and without any seams on the outer edges, CNVS takes any desktop setup to the next level and acts like an extension of the display lighting. CNVS’ soft polyester surface is both water and stain resistant, providing a silky-smooth work surface for precise mouse movement and minimal drag.
Out of the box, CNVS connects via a Type-C to Type-C USB cable with an included Type-C to dual Type-A USB adapter. Users can customize CNVS for their personal experience via HYTE’s Nexus software. Through Nexus, CNVS lighting can be synced to music, screen mirroring, personal animations set, and more.
HYTE introduces CNVS Intense Play Mat along with Nexus Hardware Management Software
Nexus was developed as HYTE’s high-fidelity qRGB lighting control solution and universal hardware support platform. It offers users a new and powerful platform to coordinate and control lighting and monitor hardware performance. Nexus features a widget-based interface for easy customization and the ability to view real-time time, media, image galleries and hardware health.

With an ever-expanding product library, Nexus will support HYTE’s current and future qRGB-enabled components to deliver a consistently brilliant lighting experience. Additionally, Nexus is capable of lighting control for several major keyboard brands, with weekly software updates planned to expand universal hardware support.

CNVS will be available from the beginning of May 2023 at an RRP of €139.00 (incl. 19% VAT).
