If history does not lie, the OnePlus 6 will be identical to the Oppo R15, ‘notch’ protagonist
Rumors about the future OnePlus 6 accumulate, and in fact everything that has been revealed indicates that we will find ourselves before a new terminal that will adopt that notch or ‘notch’ that the iPhone X became a trend among Android manufacturers in the past MWC.
The last of the indications that confirm that design comes to us from Oppo, the company that is OnePlus’ first cousin. The recent launch of the Oppo R15 show that sample or ‘notch’, something that is especially striking because the designs of the latest high-end Oppo have always been traced by OnePlus in its latest models.
Find the differences
The leaks that had been obtained in these days already spoke to us clearly of a 19: 9 ratio screen —Format that points directly to the presence of a notch—, in addition to other interesting options such as the new Snapdragon 845.
The Oppo R15 stands out for its 6.28 inch OLED display and 2280×1080 pixels resolution. The aspect ratio is 19: 9, and inside we find 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of capacity. The battery is 3,450 mAh, and in cameras we have a dual system (16 MPx + 5 MPx) on the back and a 20 MPx sensor on the front.
It is possible that the configuration of the OnePlus 6 varies slightly in those specifications, but the truth is that the design could be traced to that of the Oppo R15. It happened with the Oppo R11 and the OnePlus 5 and also with the later Oppo R11S and the OnePlus 5T, which as you can see in the images are difficult to differentiate.
Now we only have to wait to confirm that trend of the past, and if other trends of the past are met, June could be the month in which OnePlus presented the new OnePlus 6. In that same month of the years 2016 and 2017, the OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 5 appeared, for example.
