IO Interactive has officially announced Hitman 2, coming November 13 to Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
This Hitman 2 is a direct sequel to the 2016 title, and the story begins right where the previous one left off. IO points out that Hitman 2 will be published as a complete game, so it will not be betting on episodic content. It will feature a ton of post-launch content, however, including new Elusive Objectives and Tiered Contracts.
The new adventure of Agent 47 will take us to all kinds of locations, and one of them is the one that appears in the trailer of the announcement that you can see below.
Hitman 2 will also have new stealth systems that will allow us to interact more realistically with crowds or with elements such as foliage. There will also be a new mode called Sniper Assassin, an online cooperative in which players can unite to eliminate targets by taking on the role of 47 and the new Stone and Knight characters. The mode can also be played alone.
Sniper Assassin can be downloaded immediately after pre-ordering the game. The rest of us will have to wait until November 13, when the game arrives on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
