Finally, the wait is over. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 has finally revealed its release date on Disney+ after having been screened in movie theaters around the world since May 4, 2023. James Gunn’s latest contribution to the UCM has resulted in a total success for the company.
It will be on August 2 when the tape lands on the subscription platform so that we can enjoy it streaming for free, as long as we pay the monthly fee. It will have no additional cost for subscribers and the production that closes the circle for characters like Gamora, Star Lord or Drax will appear in the catalogue.
The truth is Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 has completely triumphed on the big screen, having raised more than 842 million dollars all over the planet. As if that were not enough, those who are most avid for galactic adventures will be able to enjoy the entire trilogy, since both Guardians of the Galaxy and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 are also included in the library.
On the other hand, the physical format version will still take a little longer, landing on Blu-ray on August 14 for 21.99 euros. Juicy extras like Gunn’s comments and deleted scenes that didn’t make the cut will be included there, so we’re sure to find out more secrets. Here we leave you with the official synopsis:
In Marvel Studios’ Guardians of the Galaxy: Volume 3, our iconic gang of hooligans looks a little different. After purchasing Wisdom from the Collector, the Guardians try to repair the terrible damage caused by Thanos and want Wisdom to be a safe place not only for themselves, but also for all refugees from this harsh universe. But their lives are soon turned upside down by Rocket’s troubled past. Peter Quill, still reeling from the loss of Gamora, must assemble his team and embark on a dangerous mission to save Rocket – a mission that if unsuccessful, could spell the end of the Guardians as we know them.
