The second generation of the Chosen Children arrive in Spain: Digimon Adventure 02: The Beginning will land in our country this year

Spain once again celebrates a great achievement in the world of anime. After confirming the arrival of El Chico y la Garza to our country before any other place, Select Vision just announced the return of Digimon to the big screen with Digimon Adventure 02: The Beginning.

Through its social networks, the Spanish distributor has confirmed that this film will arrive in Spain on December 1, 2023, that is, just over a month after its launch in Japan, scheduled for October 27. Additionally, the film will be available in youroriginal version, dubbed into Spanish and Catalan.

Although it has not been officially confirmed, everything indicates that it will be a sequel from the first film released in 2020, The Last Kizuna Evolution, and will introduce a new character that we had not seen until now: Rui Owada. In the trailer presented several months ago, we were able to see iconic characters from the second season of Digimon, such as Daisuke Motomiya, Ken Ichijouji or Miyako Inoue, but also creatures that we remember fondly, such as Patamon.

It seems that Spain is beginning to take the Japanese market more seriously, since in recent years, the premieres of the most successful Japanese works took up to a year to reach our theaters. We hope that this trend continues to grow and that we can enjoy more and more of this type of work on the big screen as soon as possible.
