This page of the Mafia Definitive Edition guide contains a walkthrough for the Betty side mission available in Free Ride mode. You’ll learn how to reach the garage, find gas stations, and unlock Smith Moray, a unique vehicle.
You can learn more about this mission by finding Herbert Baskerville’s letter in the Free Ride. The letter is on the table in the room above (used for planning assassinations).
It contains information about where the mission will begin. It is a telephone booth in the northeastern part of the Holbrook district, next to the Salieri warehouse, known from the main missions.
This is a time trial – you have 5 minutes to reach the workshop in the Werksviertel.
Unfortunately, this task is much more difficult than it seems. The moving vehicle’s gas tank has holes in it, which means it loses fuel quickly. Once empty, the car moves very slowly, making it virtually impossible to complete the time trial. The solution to this problem is to stop at gas stations along the way. When you arrive at a gas station, press the fuel button.
After each successful refueling, open the city map and plan the shortest route to the next gas station. It will become increasingly difficult for you to get to the nearest gas station before your fuel supply runs out.
The first gas station is in Holbrook, near where the trial began.
The second gas station is located on the border of the Holbrook and Downtown districts.
The third gas station is located in the city center next to Lucas Bertone’s workshop.
The fourth gas station is located in the Central Island district. After refueling, find the shortest route to the workshop in the Werksviertel.
The reward for completing the mission is the Smith Moray vehicle. From now on you can pick it up at any garage on the map. The game also allows you to change the colors of the vehicle’s body and interior. This car has quite good performance and is easy to drive.
