To download it to your PC, connect to its official website and click on the link first windows and then in the newsroom Zip package. When the download is complete, double click on it to open the file you just downloaded (eg. SMC_1.9_win32.zip ), extract the contents to any folder and start the program Secret Maryo Chronicles.exe to launch the game.
If you are using a Mac, please download Secret Maryo Chronicles by clicking the link first Mac and then in Version 1.9. Once the download is complete, open the dmg image you just downloaded (eg. SMC-1.9-OSX10.5-x86.dmg ), drag the icon to SMC in the folder Applications OS X and launch the game from the latter. Very easy!
Prefer to play on your mobile phone? No problem. There are several Mario Bros’s games or, rather, several video games inspired by the latter also on Android and iOS. Here are some examples.
- Lep’s World 3 – Definitely one of the best Mario “clones” available in the mobile arena. Instead of the plumber with the red hat, there is a cute elf, but the game mechanics are those of the legendary Nintendo title. Excellently realized commands and graphics (in 2D). It is available for free for Android and iOS.
- Giana Sisters – is a remake of a game released in 87 on the Commodore 64 in response to Mario. The game mechanics are very similar to the Nintendo game, except that the protagonist is a girl. Includes all 33 levels of the original title plus another 80 new ones. It is available for Android (0.89 euros) and iOS (1.79 euros).
- stardash – An interesting Mario-style platformer with monochrome graphics just like the original Game Boy. It is available on Android (free with advertising) and iOS (1.79 euros).
- Chronicles of Pumma – It is a 2D platform game released under an open source license. It is heavily inspired by Super Mario and is very well done from a gameplay point of view. Free, only for Android.
