Master the skies of the Dragon Isles when World of Warcraft Dragonflight takes off on November 28.
The ancestral home of the dragon world is in a state of flux as Blizzard Entertainment announced that Dragonflight, the ninth expansion for the massively multiplayer online role-playing game World of Warcraft, will be released worldwide on November 28 at 02:00 CEST.
“Dragonflight was created with our incredible community in mind and a desire to return to what we all love most: the splendor of Azeroth and its characters, with our players as heroes,” says World of Warcraft executive producer Holly Longdale. “We invite everyone into this new adventure where we will bask in the landscape of dragons, become part of their ancient legacy and together watch the secrets of this land unfold.”
Players will discover the Dragon Isles and explore four new zones – each themed to reveal more about the ancient dragon aspects – all lovingly crafted by the World of Warcraft development team for veterans and new players alike. As the Dragon Isles awaken, so do long-forgotten secrets, and players traverse land and sky to discover what the Dragon Isles have to offer.

Here they will discover the dracthyr, who have risen from their long slumber to join the fight and become available to players who have purchased the expansion during the Dragonflight pre-expansion patch. The dracthyr, which can switch between a humanoid face and a terrifying draconian form, are highly mobile, and their unique Evoker class can specialize in dealing damage from a distance or aiding their allies as a healer using the mystical gifts of the dragon creature.
Soar through the air as you master the all-new skill-based art of the dragon riding master, which allows players to take to the skies on the back of their very own Drake from Dragon Isles. Millions of appearance combinations are also available for Drakesallowing players to customize their companion as they learn to fly farther, longer and faster on their journey.

Players can also express themselves through the new talent system, which allows for a creative selection of skills at every level, so you can play your class the way you want, and through the revamped profession system, where players can choose to hone their craft. Next to it updated Heads-Up Display (HUD) User Interface (UI) systemplayers will be able to customize both the look and feel of their World of Warcraft experience through the game itself in more ways than ever before.
Dragonflight will be released on November 28 with eight dungeonsfour of which can be played together with friends as players work towards the new level cap of 70, while the remaining four can be dealt with in the end-game. The expansion’s first raid, Vault of the Incarnates, will be unlocked on December 13 – on all difficulty levels.
