MEDION launches high-performance gaming laptops with brand new NVIDIA RTX 4000 video cards.
MEDION ERAZER today announced two high-performance gaming laptops featuring the latest NVIDIA graphics cards. The graphics cards feature the innovative Ada Lovelace architecture, providing true-to-life virtual worlds, realistic real-time ray tracing, and AI-assisted graphics power. The MEDION ERAZER Beast X40 stands out for its optional external water cooling, while the MEDION ERAZER Major X20 stands out above all for its compact size (16-inch). In addition, both laptops are equipped with advanced 13th generation Intel processors.
MEDION® ERAZER® Beast X40
With the Beast X40, MEDION is launching the successor to the high-quality gaming sensation Beast X30 and once again sets new standards. The “Beast” is equipped with the GeForce RTX 4090 graphics card from the brand new NVIDIA 40 series and promises immersive gameplay at the highest level. The graphics card comes with the effective G-Sync technology and a luxurious 16 GB of VRAM. This ensures gaming sessions with greatly reduced screen tearing. Gamers also benefit from the powerful 13th Gen Intel Core i9-13900HX processor, as well as the spacious 2TB PCIe Gen 4×4 SSD and 32GB DDR5 RAM. To keep this powerhouse cool, even in heated battles, both the processor and video card are coated with liquid metal thermal paste.
The 17-inch panel with a refresh rate of 240 Hz is responsible for the smooth display of hectic sequences. QHD+ offers the perfect resolution that won’t strain the eyes even during late-night sessions. In addition, the 16:10 aspect ratio in combination with the slim screen bezel ensures an optimal field of view. The mechanical keyboard with CHERRY MX Ultra low profile switches brings the decisive advantage thanks to the increased precision.
The Beast X40 delivers an optimized audio experience with speakers featuring Nahimic by SteelSeries technology. The MEDION ERAZER Cooling Kit is available separately and is a unique innovation that provides extra power. The optional external water cooling system simply connects to the laptop and provides a performance boost of up to 10 percent*. The MEDION ERAZER Beast X40 is also available in a second version with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080, 1 TB PCIe Gen 4×4 SSD and 16 GB DDR5 RAM.
MEDION® ERAZER® Major X20
The Major X20 is one of the first laptops in Europe to come standard with the GeForce RTX 4070 from the latest NVIDIA series. This trump card with 8 GB VRAM and NVIDIA G-Sync ensures, among other things, ultimate smooth gaming with greatly reduced screen tearing. The necessary computing power is provided by the advanced 13th generation Intel Core i9-13900HX processor.
The processor and graphics card are equipped with liquid metal thermal paste that ensures that the temperature does not go into the red even during the most intense battle. The fast startup of programs and short loading times are guaranteed by the 2 TB PCIe Gen 4×4 SSD and 32 GB DDR5 RAM. All this ensures solid gameplay and smooth graphics on the panel with QHD+ and a 240Hz refresh rate.
Thanks to its compact 16-inch size, the laptop not only offers top gaming performance in a 16:10 aspect ratio, but also fits perfectly in a backpack. The new 13th generation Intel® Core™ processors
The new 13th generation of Intel processors continue to use the powerful hybrid architecture with performance cores (P-Core) and efficient cores (E-Core). They provide better workload prioritization and optimal management balancing with Intel Thread Director. The Intel Core i9-13980HX is the flagship and first laptop processor with 24 cores. This makes the processor the fastest mobile processor in the world. The 13th generation processors support even faster RAM with up to DDR5 5600 and both the HX and HK models allow overclocking to achieve higher computational speeds.
Prices and availability
The MEDION ERAZER Beast X40 with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 will be available from February 10 in the MEDION Shop at a suggested retail price of €4,499. The version with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 is available at a suggested retail price of €3,499. The separately available MEDION ERAZER Cooling Kit will be released at the same time and costs € 249. The MEDION ERAZER Major X20 will be available from 20 February in the MEDION Shop. With the Intel Core i9-13900HX processor and 32 GB DDR5 RAM, the laptop costs € 2,499. With the Intel Core i7-13700HX processor and 16 GB DDR5 RAM, the laptop costs € 2,299.
