Meowth (ミャウス Spanish)
Etymology
The name Meowth comes from the sound made by cats when they meow.
This is the common English-speaking sound for the meow /meow/.
biology
Meowth is a tiny pokemon, with a length of approximately 0.4 meters. This Pokémon, unlike other cats, is not found with pointy ears, but rather the diamond-shaped equivalent.
They have an extremely long tail, displayed by their wide wings, which are used for balance and flight.
Their eyes are surrounded by a frank, as in most cats, which helps them to be more careful while hunting.
Evolution
Meowth don’t evolve into other Pokemon in every generation, but they do evolve into Persian in Generation 3 and Alolan in Generation 6.
History
Meowth is one of the oldest and most popular Pokémon, having been featured in anime shows, games, and other media over the years.
It was originally Team Rocket’s Deluxe Pokémon, appearing in the first episode of the anime series. He has remained a constant presence, despite being seen many times as a minor character or as a prankster.
