Another Android app from Microsoft has appeared on the Google Play Store, but Family Safety seems to have too many bugs at the beginning.
A trial version of Microsoft Family Safety was launched in May of that year, and today the Android app is officially available to everyone. However, the app is not really well received, the average rating of the first users is a weak 3.2 out of 5 points. With this new app, Microsoft wants to give families a tool to bring the use of smart hardware to a healthy level and all family members safely through the Internet.
“Help protect your family online and offline with Microsoft Family Safety. With the Microsoft Family Safety app, you can protect your loved ones with digital and physical security.”
However, there are currently still a few errors, such as wrong times and therefore strong deviations from the competing Google Family. Such errors result in relatively poor reviews and make the app look bad right from the start. Of course, the question arises whether the test phase from May to July ended too early?
Features of Family Safety
Of course, some of the most important things about the app include activity and screen time monitoring and analysis. There are also filters for the Internet, a location tracker is built in and much more. The advantage of the app is its availability on Android, Windows and Xbox, which definitely plays into Microsoft’s hands compared to other apps.
