The presentation has started, appropriately, with a trailer in the snowy ecosystem that has revealed one of the great novelties of the game: being able to ride on top of Wyvern.

The trailer also revealed some of the new and classic snowy environment monsters, such as Goss Harag, Lagombi, Khezu, Great Baggi or Tigrex. Other new monsters are the Mizutsune, which can create bubbles to attack, or the Magnamalo, the main villain of the game, with his entire armored body and a deadly tail.

But the great novelty revealed today is the possibility of using the chordopter (previously called cable bug) to ride and control monsters, for example, to attack other monsters, or to damage them by hitting walls.

The presentation, which you can see below, has also introduced us to the village characters who will give us missions, or run the village shops. One of them is Iori, who is in charge of taking care of the felyne and canyne animals. The comrades, cats or dogs, will help us in combat, and we can even use the canyne as mounts, one of the main novelties of the game.
