We started the best Netflix premieres with the arrival of the first season of My Hero Academia, one of the anime series of the moment whose plot revolves around Izuku Midoriya, a young man who dreams of becoming a superhero in a world in which most of its inhabitants have some superpower or special ability known as a gift. However, the boy was born without developing any gift, so he becomes depressed thinking that he will never be able to see the dream of his life come true.

But everything will change when he meets the All Might Peace Symbol who, by chance in life, decides to make Midoriya his successor by granting him the One For All, a very powerful gift capable of passing from one person to another, even those who they do not have a basic gift. Midoriya will have to learn to control his new gift while learning how to be a hero at the prestigious UA superhero academy.

New Netflix movies include Mank, an original Netflix film directed by David Fincher and starring Gary Oldman, which tells the true story of Herman Mankiewicz, screenwriter of the famous Orson Welles film Citizen Kane for which he won a Oscar. The film reviews the filming process of the cult film released in 1941, delving into the Hollywood industry of the 1930s and showing the discrepancies Herman Mankiewicz had with Orson Welles during the filming of Citizen Kane. We leave you here our review of Mank.

Within the most outstanding premieres of HBO Spain we have The State against Pablo Ibar, a documentary miniseries directed by Olmo Figueredo González-Quevedo that tells the true story of Pablo Ibar, a Hispanic-American sentenced to death for some murders committed in South Florida in 1994 and that he claims he did not commit. Throughout six years of recording, the documentary has had access to Pablo Ibar’s legal team, following the evolution of the trial from the point of view of all those involved: victims, relatives, lawyers, prosecutors, witnesses, judges, policemen and the accused himself. This is our criticism of The State against Pablo Ibar.

For lovers of good series B movies, among the new films on Amazon Prime Video is available Attack of the Three-Headed Shark, an action film directed by Christopher Ray and starring Jena Sims, Danny Trejo, Karrueche Tran and Jaason Simmons that, following the style of movies like Sharknado, its plot pits a group of cruise passengers against the terrible threat of a shark of three heads.
