Netflix is, at the moment, one of the biggest weights in the entertainment sector, having completely changed the way we watch television.

Therefore, it would be expected that its biggest competition would be other television channels or streaming platforms: but this is not the case.

According to information from ComicBook, Netflix said its biggest threat is Fortnite, the mega success of Epic Games that, according to data, concerns 10% of television use in the U.S. This figure is slightly lower in other countries due to “poor service penetration”.

The entertainment giant says, “We have gained consumer time, both mobile and on television, from a number of competitors. We compete (and lose to) Fortnite more than HBO.”

This last statement is very interesting, since HBO is the channel behind several successes, including Game of Thrones whose final season opens this year, on April 14th.
