Netflix releases first images of George Clooney’s new space drama after ‘Gravity’
Netflix has finally presented in society ‘Midnight sky’, the new movie by George Clooney in which he plays the space theme several years after his participation in the excellent ‘Gravity’ by Alfonso Cuarón, with the launch of his first images.
‘Midnight Sky’ will tell us the story of Augustine, a sullen scientist installed in the Arctic who sets his sights on prevent the expedition formed by Sully and other astronauts from returning to an Earth you are facing an enigmatic global catastrophe.
Clooney himself, who directs and stars in the film, has clarified that this catastrophe has nothing to do with the current coronavirus pandemic, but also that what ‘Midnight Sky’ proposes is not too different from the current reality of our planet.
Of course, the script of ‘Midnight Sky’ is in charge of Mark L. Smith, responsible for the libretto of the acclaimed ‘The Revenant’ which here adapts a novel written by Lily Brooks-Dalton.
Accompanying Clooney at the head of the cast we will see Felicity Jones, David Oyelowo, Tiffany Boone, Demián Bichir, Kyle Chandler and Caoilinn Springall.
Netflix will premiere ‘Midnight Sky’ this coming month December, but the platform has not yet wanted to announce the exact day.
