NVIDIA today announced the GeForce® GTX® 1660 Ti, a new gaming GPU that represents a quantum leap in performance and power efficiency for today’s games. It is available from now on.
Based on the 12th generation Turing™ GP architecture, the GTX 1660 Ti takes advantage of all of Turing’s shader innovations. It supports simultaneous floating point and integer operations, a unified cache architecture with 3x L1 cache, and unprecedented performance through adaptive shading technology.
1.4x More Energy Efficient Than Pascal
The Turing architecture delivers 1.5x faster instructions per clock and 1.4 times more energy efficient than Pascal, which previously set the standard in this area. This has resulted in a power envelope of only 120 watts, giving the GTX 1660 Ti the best performance per watt in this class of GPUs.
120 Frames per Second in Competitive Games
The GeForce GTX 1660 Ti surpasses previous generation GPUs and elevates modern, popular games with complex shaders. The GTX 1660 Ti is up to 1.5 times faster than the GeForce GTX 1060 6GB, 3x faster than the GTX 960 (which many gamers still play), and easily delivers 120 frames per second at 1080p resolution in popular online games such as Fortnite, PUBG and Apex Legends.
The GeForce GTX 1660 Ti is equipped with 1,536 CUDA® cores, 6GB of brand new GDDR6 memory with a speed of 12Gbps and a boost clock of almost 1.8 GHz, which can be easily overclocked for even better performance. It is available today starting at $279.
The GTX 1660 Ti also includes GeForce Experience™, an application that makes PC gaming more accessible and is equipped with unique, easy-to-use features such as:
- NVIDIA Highlights — automatically records and saves your best gaming moments. More than 35 games already support Highlights, including Metro Exodus, Fortnite, PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS, War Thunder, Shadow of Tomb Raider, Ring of Elysium, Escape from Tarkov, Hitman 2, Kingdom Come: Deliverance, Hunt: Showdown, Final Fantasy XV, and Tekken 7.
- NVIDIA Ansel — Lets you take beautiful in-game photos. Supporting over 70 games, Ansel, including Metro Exodus, Battlefield V, Hitman 2, Shadow of Tomb Raider, For Honor, Star Wars: Battlefront II, and Final Fantasy XV. Gamers can share their favorite photos and compete in monthly competitions on Shot with GeForce.
- NVIDIA Freestyle — Enables games to completely customize their games through post-processing technology. The latest filters transform gameplay or photos into an oil painting or give them a watercolor look that looks straight out of the movie or reminiscent of the 80s.
