Nintendo has today a new Indie World video broadcast featuring a wide variety of indie games coming to the Nintendo Switch to appear.

Highlights of the video included the rogue-like dungeon crawler Hadesthe exciting card game CardShark and Raji: An Ancient Epic, an action-adventure game inspired by Hindu and Balinese mythology, releasing later today for Nintendo Switch. The showcase concluded with the announcement that a free two-player update will be released on September 23 for Untitled Goose Game.

  • Hades from Supergiant Games: Hades is a god-like rogue-like dungeon crawler that combines the best aspects of Supergiant’s acclaimed titles, from the fast-paced action from Bastion to the rich atmosphere and depth Transistor. Players take on the role of the immortal prince of the underworld and must use the powers and mythical weapons of Olympus to escape the iron grip of the god of the dead, growing in strength and discovering more of the story along the way. With thousands of character customization options and a fully voiced cast of extraordinary characters, each attempt to escape the ever-changing underworld is a unique experience. Hades will feature cross-saves with the PC version when the game comes to Nintendo Switch this fall.
  • Hypnospace Outlaw van Tendershoot, Mike Lasch, ThatWhichIs Media, and Xalavier Nelson Jr. and No More Robots: In this internet simulator set in the 1990s, players explore the furthest corners of the web, add useful downloads to their desktop, evade computer viruses, and hunt down virtual bad guys as an Enforcer in the Hypnospace Patrol Department . Hypnospace Outlaw will be released on Nintendo Switch on August 27. The game will be available for pre-order later today from Nintendo eShop, where you can also download a free demo version.
  • spiritfarer from Thunder Lotus: As the Spiritfarer Stella, you must help the spirits of the departed find their way to the afterlife by transporting them across the seas on your handcrafted ferry. In this atmospheric management game with hand-drawn art and animations, you can befriend passengers, customize and upgrade your ferry, and explore an imaginative world – or let the wind blow you away. spiritfarer makes its maiden voyage on Nintendo Switch later today.
  • Garden Story from Picogram and Rose City Games: Garden Story invites players into an organic and joyful world to rebuild the community as Concord, the new-fangled Guardian of the Grove. Your journey takes you across a vibrant island and you must fight the encroaching Rot, nurture fruity friendships, collect valuable resources, restore buildings and rebuild the homes of the locals. Garden Story blooms in 2021 on Nintendo Switch.
  • Subnautica and Subnautica: Below Zero from Unknown Worlds Entertainment: In Subnautica, players explore the depths of a vast alien underwater world. Along the way you collect resources, build underwater structures and watch out for the beasts that swim around to discover the mystery of the planet you have landed on. Explorers looking for an icy adventure can venture into the sequel Subnautica: Below Zero. Here you must try to survive under the freezing conditions on planet 4546B. Subnautica and Subnautica: Below Zero both will be released for Nintendo Switch in 2021.
  • Takeshi and Hiroshi from Oink Games Inc.: The worlds of stop motion animation and RPGs collide in Takeshi and Hiroshi. As aspiring 14-year-old game designer Takeshi, you must entertain your little brother Hiroshi with the latest chapter of their game. Takeshi has to improvise: in addition to making sure Hiroshi overcomes tough challenges, his goal is to keep his little brother from losing.   • Raji: An Ancient Epic from Nodding Heads Games and Super.com: Set in ancient India, this intense action-adventure from Pune (India) based Nodding Heads Games is inspired by Hindu and Balinese mythology. A maiden chosen by the gods faces a demonic invasion of the human world. It’s up to her to rescue her younger brother and face the mighty demon lord. Players experience smooth combat as they must learn to wield divine weapons. Raji: An Ancient Epic launches as a limited-time console exclusive on Nintendo Switch later today.
  • Bear and Breakfast from Gummy Cat Studio and Armor Games Studios: Bear and Breakfast is a laid-back management adventure game where you play as Hank, a lovable bear trying to turn a dilapidated shack into a successful B&B. As the business grows, so do the mysteries in the forest, and soon Hank uncovers a plot deeper than the wilderness itself. The game will be released as a limited-time console exclusive on Nintendo Switch in 2021.

Choose your own path and discover where it leads you. Meet other hikers, discover hidden treasures and enjoy the world around you. A Short Hike will be released as a limited-time console exclusive on Nintendo Switch later today.
  • CardSharkfrom Nerial and Devolver Digital: Achieve elite status in 18th century French society by cheating in CardShark, a stylishly illustrated adventure game in which it is better not to play an open card. On your journey from table to table, you’ll need to work on your repertoire of card tricks and carefully manage your ill-gotten gains as the stakes grow. Don’t let the others spot you, because if that happens, you’re playing with your life. CardShark arrives on Nintendo Switch in 2021.
  • Torchlight III from Echtra Games, Inc. and Perfect World Entertainment: Torchlight III is the sequel to the acclaimed action RPG Torch light II and takes players to the Frontier on a quest for even more fame, glory and wealth. The game takes place a century after the events of the previous game and the Ember Empire has fallen into disrepair. Novastraia is again ravaged by invasion and players must protect the land from the evil Netherim and associates. The beloved pets are back with new abilities and players can now also build their own fortress. Torchlight III will be released for Nintendo Switch in Fall 2020, also including an exclusive Red Fairy as a pet.

Here the player takes on the role of Ki, a young spirit on a journey through life, death, space and time. The innovative Soulflame mechanic grants the player the power to slow down time, providing tremendous flexibility in how to travel through the beautiful and haunting world. Evergate will be released later today on Nintendo Switch.
  • Untitled Goose Gamefrom House House and Panic: What could be more of a nuisance than an annoying goose? Two annoying geese! A free two-player update to the popular slapstick stealth sandbox game will be available on September 23. There will also be a game card version of it Untitled Goose Game released for the Nintendo Switch. More information will be provided on this in the future.
