According to the prosecutor Olivier Janson, a couple of octogenarians, “whose good faith was not called into question”, threw the pot “without any particular precaution”, after having emptied the barn of a deceased relative, widow from a former doctor. who would have been the owner of the pot.
“The jars were very opaque and they did not realize their contents,” explained the magistrate.
The prosecution specified that no legal action would be taken against the octogenarian couple who had taken the fetus to the recycling center, but that forensic research would continue to determine “the origin of the fetus”.
