Blizzard has just published a job offer for a new project which could well be the development of the next Diablo. As a reminder, Diablo 3 was released in 2012 on PC then on old gen consoles before being ported in 2014 to new gen machines in an Ultimate edition including the expansion Reaper of Souls.

The job offer, which can be viewed via this link, imposes certain requirements relating to Blizzard’s flagship franchise. Thus, the company is looking for an artistic director with a minimum of 10 years of experience in the field and at least 5 as a project manager. But what interests us today is the following because the “plus” to get the job is to have “a passion for games with in-depth knowledge of the Diablo franchise”.

The lucky candidate must also know how to produce 2D and 3D models with known tools as well as have a solid foundation in order to sell AAA products as an artistic director.

Everything suggests that Blizzard’s next big title will indeed be a new Diablo opus. In any case, we should know very soon since the game will certainly be announced during Blizzcon, Blizzard’s annual show, which will take place in November. So to be continued.
