A remake of Zelda: Link’s Awakening would arrive on 3DS, all the info

Even if nintendo is having great success with the Switch, the manufacturer has promised players that it will support the 3DS at least until 2018. Big N intends to demonstrate this not by a mathematical equation, but rather by releasing a new Zelda on Nintendo this yearaccording to several sources who reported the same information.

Really new episode? Not quite, sinceit would apparently be a remake of Link’s Awakening, or at least, a component that would draw its inspiration greatly from this flagship Gameboy game. The team in charge of the game is none other than that of Grezzothe developers who worked on Majora’s Mask 3DS, Ocarina of Time 3D, and even Tri-Force Heroes.

The title was supposed to make its arrival in 2017, but nintendo being focused on Breath of the Wild and its DLCs, the decision to postpone it has been made. Moreover, this delay is also explained by changes made in the gameplay, in order to obtain a more “open” approach.

Finally an availability for the second quarter or even the beginning of the third is mentioned with a 2DS bundle to mark the occasion. Big N is expected to officially reveal this mystery game shortly.
